About The Artist
A 23-year-old graduate with a degree in Liberal Arts with Honours, the artist’s practice explores perception, memory, and personal interpretation through both abstract and representational forms. Their work is driven by an interest in how individuals experience shared realities differently, transforming familiar subjects into deeply subjective visual narratives.
Influenced by philosophical ideas surrounding reality, imitation, and human perception, the artist approaches abstraction as an extension of realism rather than its opposite, a means of expressing emotional and psychological experiences beyond literal representation. Through experimentation with form, texture, and composition, their work seeks to capture the shifting relationship between observation, emotion, and memory.
Alongside their studio practice, the artist has participated in local exhibitions and community-based art initiatives, including assisting in the setup and management of pop-up exhibitions at Kathmandu Art House and organizing interactive creative activities for visitors. Their practice continues to evolve through an ongoing exploration of individuality, perception, and artistic expression.
